Discovery – In the process of getting to know the community, we discovered a disconnect between residents and local assets. People new to the community stuck to their small comfort zones especially.

In order to find ways to liven this neighborhood, our team proceeded to submerging ourselves in it. Research techniques included interviews and surveys of residents, multiple tours of the area and contacting the councilor of ward 10. Following our research the team created fictional personas that represented the local community. These personas were used as brainstorming tools and as benchmarks.
