Sit/Stand Stool for UHN – Along with a group of hand picked OCAD students, I was given the opportunity to work with UHN (the University Health Network, Toronto). My group’s project dealt with the cancer treatment Chemotherapy Pharmacy Lab. This sit/stand stool allows a pharmacist to stand for long periods of time while taking stress off of their legs, as well as to sit when they take a break. The seat of the stool raises to wedge itself between the table and the floor, thus providing a stable and comfortable knee rest. An optional foot rest can also be used for stretching and leaning. The sit/stand stool can also be used as a normal bar stool at the desk.
