Discovery – Most relevant findings included extreme ranges of heights in Pharmacists, fatigue from lengthy work periods, sitting devices were less helpful than they were in the way, and the Pharmacists only got micro-breaks of less than one minute.

Attending a number of shadowing sessions, our team analyzed the Chemotherapy pharmacists’ workflow, frequency of breaks and habits such as moving around, stretching and body positions. Looking at their environment we explored furniture arrangement and desk space. In order to sum up and create a usable tool from our research we created an experience journey. This led to a clear understanding the flow in the Chemotherapy lab.
